Welcome to the new, revamped dollygoggles!
I've been busy making this new layout & lots of work has been put into it. I hope that you're able to find everything ok(?). This layout is very different to the previous version but all the good stuff is still there ;).
Basically, the old site has been divided up so all the pixels & stuff are gone but good news!....these will be back with their own site. Yep, pixels, web content & cute layouts will soon be featured on a site all of their own!
In the mean time, this site will be devoted entirely to the wonderful world of blythe.
NOOb? new to this site?, new to blythe?
Right, well Blythe dolls (pronounced "blieth") are collectors items rather than childrens toys. In fact, today a vintage blythe in perfect condition can fetch several thousand dollars at auction. Blythe was designed in 1972, produced in Hong Kong and marketed / sold in the U.S. by the now-defunct U.S. toy company Kenner. Her main feature were eyes that changed color with the pull of a string attached to her oversized head. Due to a lack of interest, blythe dolls were only sold for one year in the U.S during 1972. In 1997, New York TV and video producer Gina Garan was given a vintage 1972 Kenner blythe by a friend and the rest, as the say, is history so if you want to read on then please select "blythe history" from content navigation on the right hand side :)
